cold start prob

mga bossing, kahit na 2 hrs ko lang park ang car(89 lancerglx) ko, may cold start problem na, whenever i start it, andar lang ng 1-2 secs then mamamatay na makina. i have to rev it first for a couple of minutes para tuloy-tuloy andar, kumbaga gusto niya painitin muna. 2 mekaniko na pinagdalhan ko, di pa rin alam remedy, btw na tune up na to 2 mos ago. wat are the possible causes and the remedies as well.thanks.

clogged fuel line/filter. timing.

if your experienceing rough idling and loss of power too. have your mechanic check you fuel pump in the gas tank. it possible that there is a prefilter in there that can ba cloged or maybe the pumb is not pumping enough pressure.

Check out your fuel filter. If it is old, try replacing it.

carburated ba yun, kung curb baka barado try mo carburator/injector cleaner ..>>

baka wala na sa condition yun contact pt. kung meron..>>

bago ung fuel filter at contact point ko, pinalitan nung na tune up, pa try ko palinis uli yung carburetor at mga linya, at mga iba parts pang na mention nyo. tnx guys.

in the meantime, ang ginagawa ko, i'm pulling the (auto)choke knob hanggang umabot ng 1000rpm para di mamatay makina at makakaandar nako immediately. sabi nung kasama ko yung ginagawa nun ay dinadagdagan yung fuel supply para di mamatay makina, kaso gastos sa gas.

In the meantime, try pumping your accelerator pedal a couple of times before cranking your enigne. That seems to work. Just don't overpump kasi malulunod ang karburador mo.
