i went there to get my wheels aligned, only to be told that i needed camber adjustment, a new CV joint, and some repair/replacement for the steering.
i came in expecting to spend 500+ for the alignment, only to get a 8 - 10k estimate for parts and labor B(
be that as it may...ok ba sila gumawa? is there any particular mechanic na magaling?

April 20th, 2010 06:21 PM #12Kakagaling ko lang ng Tierodman today. first time ko mag pagawa. nakita ko kasi yung auto shop nung kakain kami sa kansi last week. Nagpapalit ako ng shock absorber saka bushing sa kambyo. it cost me P4K+ parts and labor all in. while nag pa estimate ako sa ibang shop, di ko na sasabihin kung ano shop pero sa pasig. ang estimate sa akin Aabutin ng mahigit P7K+ parts and labor para lang sa shock ha, wala pa yung bushing sa kambyo. Anyways, my car is a Mazda 626 hatchback. Iniwan ko ng 12nn sa tierodman yung kotse ko, natapos kagad ng 2pm. Mabilis kausap sila. Si ms. susan yung sa cashier at si victor yung mekaniko. i guess my advise to all of you is dapat alam na ninyo yung papagawa ninyo at may idea na kung magkano para utos mo na lang sa kanila kung ano gagawin. thats what i did. actually they are asking me to change the other shocks sabi ko wag na. okay pa naman yun. im happy gawa ng kotse ko, hindi na ako mahuhulog sa lubak at mabebengkong ang mag wheels.
