Im hearing a clank under my car when I turn off the engine and parked it. It sound like a water hitting a thin metal, or a thin metal to metal sound. The sound seems originating near the middle, which is muffler. The sound has like 1 second interval, then the interval increases the longer the car is parked. Until it stops completely.
Ano kaya ito? My car is a 2 and a half month old vios with 4.1k on its odo. Im planning to report it to casa on my 5k pms. Right now id be more vigilant in checking my oil and water.

metal expands when hot, cools down when you shut off the engine. that sound is metal of the catalytic converter contracting. remember the inside of the catalytic converter temperature is very high, like 1000+ deg C hot.

Gamit ko eh caltex gold and silver. Does that mean di maganda quality ng caltex?
And sir, what does "excessive lean mixture" mean? And i see a small puddle of water under my car, maybethats the moist you are talking about?Last edited by BratPAQ; July 15th, 2012 at 11:40 AM.

since the car is still new, i suggest you have the casa take a look at it.
parang di normal sa vios yan, even though sa converter nga yan.
