car shaking at high speeds

guys,
my friend's car (proton) is is a little shaky at speeds above 80kph. and lumalabas yung "check engine" when driving above 80kph.

wheel balancing kaya kailangan nito?

i would think you could have two separate problems.

possible reasons... loose suspension parts, tire balancing needed, or loose steering parts. take your pick :D

most probably tire/wheel balancing... have them checked at your suking mekaniko...

yung sa shaking have you suspension parts checked. could be a combination of failing parts.

as for the CEL, kung walang ibang nangyayari, might be loose or dirty connections at the very least, but it could be worse as well.

maybe ur low on oil pressure somehow at high speeds? most of the time unbalanced tires/wheels is the main cause of shaking at high speeds.

shaking - buong body ba or mostly the steering wheel? check wheel balance, shocks or tire pressure or engine mounts or dirty fuel injectors.

Check engine - best to have this diagnosed on an engine analyser, pwedeng sensors lang yun. (wag naman sana ECU)

baka sa engine problem ,kailangan ng tuneup
or pa check mo mga balljoint, tie rod, wheel balancing,shock absorber connection,wheel bearings,steering box
rear drive ba yan ? check the crossjoint,bearings
