guys question... what's the difference between mica color finish and tricolor finish? how will i know the difference and what the advantages and disadvantages of both?

August 8th, 2005 12:14 PM #4mica i think are metallic acrylic paints..like silver mica mostly used to repaint mags..but there are mica white din..so it will just look like normal acrylic paint..unlike tricolor which will give it a chameleon look, 1 of the favorites of ricerboys hehe

August 14th, 2005 06:30 PM #5MICA is considered pearl. it is the smaller version of metallic. pure mica colors are the ones used in tricolor paints but its pearl when mixed with base colors. mica colors are more expensive than metallic. but tricolor costs more.
