Maxus Philippines, operating under the Ayala Group’s AC Automotive, sent over some images of the G10 plying Philippine roads, and it looks pretty good as far as first impressions are concerned. It looks about the same size—if not a bit larger—than the Kia Carnival, and flaunts attractive European styling.

The Maxus G10 has been in production under SAIC Motor since 2014, and is powered in other markets by either a 2.0-liter turbopetrol, a 2.4-liter gasoline, or a 1.9-liter turbodiesel engine No word yet on which version we’ll be getting here in the Philippines and at what price.

Sales begin the day after the launch. Expect to know the official prices and variants when the brand is finally introduced. In the meantime, check out these images of the vehicle.

Are you excited to see the Maxus G10 and everything else the brand has to offer once it's launched?

Will not deny that it is quite attractive. Screams MB V-Class to me, especially the side profile and those side mirrors. Quite curious to see how will look like, and perform, in a few years.

ayaw pa nila iconfirm na diesel. they would have made a splash if they already announced a diesel as the sole engine.

    LDV G10 pala ito

Sana nga the parts are as easy as ordering from Alibaba or AliExpress.

    saw units on display...

I like the size and the price.

I wonder how's the local support as the brand is under Ayala Corp.

Parts. Has and always will be parts.

Carnival has been around for around 5 years now, and its engine even longer than that.

It seems that SAIC have decided against their go to multi jet engine from FCA-GM and instead was Kunming Yunnei Power launch partner for their new d16/d19 engine design with the G10 being the launch vehicle for the D19 engine back in 2015. Unless SAIC plans to introduced the diesel MG6 here the D19 is shared only with JAC's T6/X200

Nag test drive ka na? Medyo truckish ang engine nya. Malakas torque pero makupad na medyo magaspang tunog. Malayo sa carnival

Ayala officially drops Maxus brand from its roster After seven years of partnership | TopGear PH

SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, the parent company of Maxus, and AC Industrials, the Ayala Corporation industrial technology arm, announced that they were ending their partnership for the distribution of Maxus vehicles in the country after seven years. Both companies said they see this as a strategic step, allowing both entities to, “realign and focus on their respective core strengths in response to shifting market dynamics.”

Existing Maxus owners can still avail of after-sales support through this transition stage. Customers can conveniently book service appointments via Maxus Philippines | Service & Warranty.
