I don't find it weird...

I have seen and rode in taxi cabs (in other countries) which were:
-Toyota Camry (old and new models)
-Toyota Crown
-Nissan Teana
-Nissan Cefiro
-Hyundai Sonata
-Benz (S-Class)

but nonetheless, whoever gets to ride in this taxi must be lucky... posh!

what would be weird for me is when the dashboard has been made into an altar with all fixtures and mouldings glued on the dashboard with a knitted headband and several danggling items suspended by the rearview mirror!

there was also a weird rooftop ornament- the doggie figure for Joy Bathroom Tissue! hah!

i've probably seen taxi drivers doing these already.

not weird, but different:
early morning yesterday. got a ride from a latest model Altis with angel eyes/HID and full bodykits. talked to the driver. he said marami na ring new Altis na taxi sa province nila. didn't bother asking kung saan province nia, kasi busy akong kalikutin ung mga features sa loob may LED domelights ren.

last week: Chery QQ super liit ng loob, pero Boom Boom ung ICE setup sa loob bata pa ung owner/driver. 6mos old pa lang ung unit, tapos straight JL ung sound setup. costed him nasa 60K na raw and counting ganda ng tunog!

Bigbody Corolla with LaserBeam horns and sirens! kwela ren.. kasi maingay kami sa daan.. para lang kaming jeepneys na ng hahawi ng mga sasakyan.

Three weeks ago I saw a Kia Carens that was being used as a taxi, I believe its the most expensive taxi around the Metro.

yep, hindi naman weird. odd lang kasi kung ikaw, hindi mo gagawing taxi yung 10th gen altis tapos G variant pa

i bet the drivers of those taxis are also the owners

I've seen one too along Kelentong, Mandaluyong noong katatapos ni Ondoy...

Bakit kaya hindi pwede ang standard na alto pang-taxi. Puro deluxe lang nakikita ko ?

how come they used good looking cars such as ALTIS LANCER as taxis here in phils. sayang nman yung pera nila. lugi ata sila sa presyo nung kotse. tska AFAIK d na pwede gawing taxis ang altis kasi may other cheaper variants nman ito (eg. Vios, Avanza)
