first off, sorry if i placed the thread in the wrong forum...medyo general kasi ung topic...
why are there no diesel-powered subcompact/kei cars here in rp? kulang ba sa hatak compared to similarly displaced gas engines? or di bagay sa road conditions dito? or is it the price tag?
for that matter, baket puro gas engines ung kei cars sa japan?

so far alam ko may 1.0 at 1.4 D4D ang toyota ata...

June 14th, 2008 08:44 PM #3Kei cars should be cheap and diesel engine is NOT CHEAP. Many kei cars already run at very small low displacement gas engines which should be efficient already. Add to that it makes the car cheaper...
