That is a problem if you plan to have a business that you cannot manage yourself because of distance or some other obligation.

You will have to hire someone you can trust to be your manager. But that would also mean you will need to be here to manage the setup phase and to hire the correct persons to be the manager and staff of that business.

Alternative is to have a local business partner. You will provide part of the start up funds for the business. But even with this, you have to pray hard that your partner will not swindle you out of your share of the profits.

The best option is the last one. You'll have to find a local (philippine based) partner who can do all the work and part of the initial investment as well.

You will provide the other part of the financial investment.

The hard part is deciding how much percentage the partners will get.

An alternative to partnership is corporations where five or more people is involved.

One of the best investment you could engage when you are working abroad is the stock market, study the stock market, manage your risk. The average growth of our market since year 2000 to present is 20 per annum, it very high compare with time deposit that earns 3 % per annum.

Never rent out a vehicle na yung client ang magda-drive. ALWAYS PROVIDE YOUR OWN DRIVER.
