    May mga emails na umiikot about Saudia. Sa mga nag-bakasyon lately, totoo ba ito? Buti na lang Cathay or Emirates sinasakyan ko.

    Langya, tinalo pa PAL sa sama ng serbisyo, ah. Below is the email:

    =================================================

    There are many complaints against Saudia Flights to and from the Philippines recently, few of the complaints are the following:

    1. Aircraft use of all Saudia Flights going to Manila WERE NOT the usual Saudia Aircraft even the exterior looks SAUDIA. Once you get on board, it is too obvious that the aircraft is not of Saudia. The logo says “Atlanta Airlines” and the flight attendants looks like Sri Lankan or from South Asian origin.

    2. Some Kabayan’s who comes back from vacation recently, also complaining that the aircraft has no TV monitors or any other entertainment facilities compared to what the usual airlines has.

    3. Others complain that there’s water leaking from the roof cabin from Manila to Riyadh flight.

    4. This is worst, one Kabayan was too nervous that “Fasten your Seatbelt” sign lighted several times after take off from NAIA even there’s no turbulence and the weather is clear…and at the end they had made an emergency landing somewhere in Thailand as the aircraft tail oozing with smoke and with some mechanical problems.

    The above experiences of our Kabayan’s prompted them to encourage all Filipinos not to fly Saudia if going for vacation.

    All the aircraft they use for RUH-MLA-RUH are old and sub contracted with other small-unknown airlines. While the new Saudia aircraft’s are use on their other routes especially going to Europe and other destinations. Not to mention the delayed flights originally at 3pm but changed to 12midnight.

    This is just a simple discrimination unknowable where most Filipinos prefer direct flights to get home, its shows that Saudia service not the same as before.

    Just ask some of your friends who came from vacation recently of their experiences while flying Saudia Airlines.

    Ang sabi ng iba, madalas delayed na nga raw yung mga Saudia Flights at hindi talaga Saudia yung plane. Napansin na ng mga kasama ko ito, yung mga nag-bakasyon ng May. Luma raw yung plane, hindi Pinay ang mga stewardess at walang individual LCD screens. Naniniwala nga ako kasi yung wife ng officemate ko umuwi, last week lang. Ihinatid pa namin sa KKIA. Alam nyo ba nangyari? Tumawag yung wife niya, from Manila, at ang kwento, ito: Pianapasok sila sa plane on time (8:30PM ata flight). Pero di agad umalis yung plane. Nagkaroon ata ng tech/mech, problems yung plane. Nag-stay sila ng 1.5 hrs sa plane, ng WALANG AIRCON! Napakainit daw sa loob! (WTF! Saudia!) Dami raw nagreklamo, pero di naman sila pinabalik sa KKIA waiting lounge. Basta du'n lang sila sa plane. Summer na ngayon at kahit gabi, talagang mainit pa rin sa labas. Lumipad daw sila mga 10PM na.

    CX or EK na lang talaga.....
