This is the only car worthy to be cross shopped for a Mirage IMO.

I would even consider this before a Mirage if they are similarly speced.

Facelifted 2014 Nissan Micra / March Hatchback Puts on a New Face - Carscoops









It comes with 1.2L 3 cyl 80hp engine coupled to a CVT much like the Mirage but has an option of 1.2L supercharged, 1.5L and 1.6L petrol engine and a 1.5L diesel from Renault.

The Facelift version of the Nissan Micra sports a center console with a larger 5.8-inch touch screen with the latest NissanConnect infotainment system, a different front end, with a new hood, new grille, bumper, foglight surrounds and Headlights, and with revised LED taillights, a modified tailgate trim and a different rear bumper
The optional features of the 2014 Nissan Micra includes park assist, the panoramic glass roof and more. The entry level Visia will feature electric front windows, CD player with USD and AUS, remote central locking, power steering, ABS, ESP, airbags and more.

The mid range Nissan Micra will feature front fog lights, Bluetooth, automatic wipers and lights, 15-inch alloy wheels and more. The top variant TEKNA Facelift will sport park assist, parking sensors, climate control, electric folding side mirrors, keyless start, NissanConnect, 16-inch alloy wheels and some other tweaks.

While the engine will be the same, 1.2L three-cylinder petrol and the 1.2L supercharged DIG-S, mated to either a five-speed manual or a CVT.

Really bad. Nissan's been doing all too well in international markets, maybe the reason why they have no time to sit down and focus about our market. They literally missed every segment that's been doing well here. They've been late in the sub-compact and ended up with a dismal Almera, no super-mini hatch (Micra) while the Mirage proves there's a big market for it. No subcompact hatch (Nissan Note) when every maker is well represented. We're very late when it comes to the Sentra compact sedan. The current Sentra 200 is very expensive yet bare and is augmented by the long in the tooth Sentra N16, which makes matters worse.

I think its really the fault of the Nissan Taiwan.... and the fact that we have two Nissan car companies doing the same thing in the Philippines. It bascially ties each other down from making good progress with new cars in the philippines.

The Nissan March would have been a great car to revitalize Nissan.

Even UMC doesn't have a proper SUV to play in the game. No AUV cum MPV with proper diesel engine, no Fortuner/Montero fighter, the Patrol is really aging and the Navarra's luster wont last a good long time with a slew of more potent competitors coming along.
