ang mga 97 nasa 350 down na lang kaso converted yung kanya to 01 look..hmm better get a proper 99 infiniti look kaysa yan at least orig leather na interior nun.. although i like his mags...
it depends on the trim type, the earlier variants are cheap, under 400... the latter elite (esp with the new grille, bumpers etc) hovers around 500-650...
for a v6 2.0 they're not gas guzzlers at all. Mas malakas pa sa gas ang 1.6 na familia o 2.0 na corona/altima/galant eh.
We used to have one before ('99 Elite)... Fuel consumption was at 6.5 to 7km/l in the city.
- Very comfy and huge interior... stable even at high speeds
- Good power (floor it on the expressway and you'll be at 170kph in no time... medyo sakal nga lang yung a/t over 170kph but changing to a free flow intake will remedy that ;))
- Bang for the buck... you can get the '97 models for as low as 250K
- Easy to repair suspension (555 part available)
- If you get a unit that was not cared for properly by the owner, hassle mag trouble shoot ng problems as parts of course will be at a premium over 1600 cc cars.
- The engine, at around 80,000km or so will need new gaskets as leaks start to develop (this was the case with some of the '97-98 models... i dunno about the later ones).
- The engine needs 95 octane fuel to avoid detonation/"tope"
Etc:
- Spark plugs only need replacement every 100,000km... a set will cost P500+*
Just to add on the smoothness... I once drove on the STAR Tollway and forgot to put the o/d on (used it to pass someone earlier)... as i was just watching the road, i didnt notice i was already redlining at 160kph on 3rd gear until my passenger asked me if that was already the top speed of the Cefiro as the car was on redline already and not upshifting. :P
