Throttle Body - Nissan Sentra Ser.3

Good day mga chiefs,

I went to Speedlabs over the weekend to have the Throttle Body checked on my nissan snetra ser. 3. They said they could clean it up but the problem may only come back after a week or so, so they recommended that it would be better to just replace it with a new one instead.

Tanong ko lang sana sa inyo mga chiefs if you could recommend a reliable shop or two where I could purchase this engine part? Preferably yung maayos kausap po sana and relaiable yung after sales service.

Or, kung meron sa inyong nagbebenta ng throttle body, please do let me know, I'm open to second hand din po mga chiefs coz they said mahal din yung brand new, around P30k daw, and yung surplus P15k.

Well, basically pag naka tigil yung auto ng matagal, parang biglang mamamatayan ka pero hindi tumutuloy so unang kutob ko eh baka sa idling lang yung problema, then may nabasa akong thread dito na baka daw madumi lang yung throttle body kase common problem daw yun sa sentra, kaya yun ang pinatignan ko sa Speedlabs and as I mentioned in my post, they suggested na bumili nalang ako ng bagong "throttle body" kase baka bumalik lang din yung problema pag lininis lang daw. That's why ako nagka-canvass na ngayon ng throttle body na preferably surplus (P15k daw) kugn maayos naman, and brand new (P30k daw) kung wala akong mahanap.

kung babalik din ang problem kung lilinisin lang then hindi linis ang kailangan meron ibang part na kailangan palitan or merong part or sensor na dapat palita, baka ito lang para masmura at hindi buong throttle body pa ang bilhin mo.

Thank you as well sa input chief, yun nga rin ang gusto kong malaman kaya I'll probably get a second opinion sa ibang talyer regarding this. Or balak ko din ipasok sya sa Nissan casa mismo para makuha ko rin diagnosis and price quotation nila for repairs needed. If you guys could recommend other talyers na pwede kong puntahan din, that would really be great.

5-7thou lang bro ang throttle body w servo sa banaue.Baka matawaran mo pa.Try mo pumunta kay Baltak sa banaue.

Thanks sa input chief, tanong ko lang kung brand new na ba yung P5-7k na throttle body? o second hand? Also, san ba banda sa Banaue yung Baltak? lampas Q.Ave paba? o malapit lang sa E.rod? manga-galing kase ako E.rod bale.

Bighead I also went to speedlab and have had the same answer from them change the throttle body which is terribly Sh!!!! Naging problema korin yang problem mo before. But now my idle is stable after cleaning the IACV-AAC Valve. I dont believe dun sa sinabi ng speedlab na pag nilinisan ay babalik din ang problem after a week or so. Kasi yung sakin nung last time malinisan yung IACV-AAC Valve ay 1 1/2 years ago na at maayos parin ang idle. I guess you don't need to buy a new Throttle Body. Try cleaning your IACV-AAC valve and MAF sensor. Then after you have to Tune-Up your car ( set base idle and timing). If you are close to Sucat I can recommend you to a good car shop mechanic who is very careful in cleaning IACV-AACV Valve, Throttle body etc...

Try to bring your car sa CASA ( nissan quezon ave). Kung linis lang ng throttle assembly around P1000+ lang yan.

i suggest palinis mo muna talaga throttle mo.. won't cost you much.. malay mo linis lang talaga kailangan, thats good.. if bumalik pa ung problem, then that's the time na you look for other alternative..

had the same prob with my sentra series 3 had it cleaned the thorttle, and now my rev. is up speed up and engine sounds great thanks for the advices guys

Tanong ko lang po sana alam nyo kung pano mag linis nung IACV? and panu po ba mag adjust ng timing? ang makina ko po ay GA16DNE. salamat po!
