1993/94 safari v.s. 1997/98 diesel terrano

guys, the above units, both local, are selling at about the same price, p450,000 to 480,000. which of the two would you get?

from a performance and size perspective, panalo talaga ang safari. the only thing going for the terrano is that it should be in better condition sa interior because it will be 4 years newer and probably lower mileage.

what do you guys think?

safari pa rin....hehehehe although we do have a 97 terrano...but if i have to choose on the same situation as yours, sa safari ako...personal preference ko yan....dahil siguro me terrano na kami...hehehehe

siguro mas matipid sa krudo ang terrano owing to a smaller engine. but if fuel consumption is not an issue, go for the safari. astig ang dating

fuel consumption? hmm... i think the terrano is underpowered with its 2.7 liter engine.
so ang mangyayari aapak ka ng aapak sa pedal to get the power you want and need.

safari for me just look out for the rust formation on the rear side roof and the rear door hinges. that's the problem area of that model

the interior really doesnt depend on the number of years but on how the owner took care of it.
my dad's patrol's interior is still very neat.
1996 model sya and w/ less than 24000kms on the odometer.
ang linis pa rin ng loob.
second-hand owner kami.

so i'd choose the patrol over the terrano.

patrol safari pa rin ako rather than getting a terrano..

tsaka nagtanong rin ako sa kelseat, pwede namang uitin buong interior for a reasonable price, so i guess that adds more points for the safari

nagmumunimuni lang mga pare.

any other suggestions for the price range or 450 to 480? kailangan diesel. sinumpa ko na ang gasolina bahala guzzler ang patrol, allergic na ako sa gas

mahal ng resale value ng local trooper di ko kaya

di ako comfortable with converted units, although walang personal experience with them. although i heard that the bighorns are very good and easy to convert because they have dual mounting points or something like that.
