    I know the car isn't really using the platform from the Terra and Navara, but in the current nissan lineup, doesn't the NV200 currently have that position? Though that is used more for cargo than passengers in other countries per my recollection.

    And isn't one of the issues faced by the models that competed with the Innova before(Serena/QRV for Nissan and Grandis/Fuzion and for Mitsubishi) was that they didn't have a diesel option as well or it was that putting in a diesel would make it cost more than the Innova, defeating the purpose per my recollection.

    But I do hope there can be something that can be considered a competition for the Innova.

    but that was when gasoline was cheaper than it is today.

    Dapat mag labas ang mitsubishi ng updated adventure.. same ladder frame chassis like the innova.. tapos naka 4d56 montero engine.. add airbags and abs.. yan ang siguradong patok. Tapos priced below 1M lang. Tutal malaki naman ang kinita nila sa adventure at l300

    Same here. They could have installed a detuned version of the montero’s DI-D 4D56. Just like what Toyota did with the Innova & Fortuner.
