Nissan X-trail 2.0 2WD A/T vs. Nissan X-trail CVT 2.5 4×2 A/T

I'm thinking of getting an X-trail over CR-V. What are the differences between these 2 models aside from the obvious 2.0 and 2.5. I tried searching but I can't find any info. Thanks in advance.

What I know, 4x2 2.0 nila yung old gen na Xtrail which is still being sold as brand new unit. Yung newer gen Xtrail both 2.5L & CVT, only choices if 4x2 or 4x4. Get the newer Xtrail IMO.

The bigger engine and CVT tranny is worth that much. CVT is supposed to improve fuel efficiency. I am not sure what the FC figures for the new Xtrail with its 2.5L engine and CVT tranny but the older gen 2.0L Xtrail was averaging between 6-7 Km/L on city driving conditions, as per inputs from some members here.

The 2.5L model is a generation newer model. It should be worth that.
