    Howdy Navara Brothers

    Just want to start up a thread specific for SE and SV editions of Navara. What we can do here are

    1. To share a picture of your Navara
    2. Share some mods and upgrades you've done (w/ or w.out costs)
    3. Share mileage, average consumptions, and maintenance so far
    4. Encountered problems and issues with the unit - and how it was addressed
    5. And suggestions on oils, fuels, lubes, etc

    We all know that the sports edition does not really need a lot of upgrades as it was created too look like a beast. But some ideas on what to add in the unit would be awesome!

    I'm gonna share mine tomorrow pag nakabalik na ako ng Cavite. But I got the 2017 SE 6MT last Wednesday and it is indeed a true beast :D

    Cheers Brothers!

    Hello. I'm planning to purchase a Navara NP300 Sport Edition and use it off-road sometimes. Could someone tell me if the "front skirt" is removable or not. I don't want it touching the ground while off-road. In case it is removable, how does the front of the navara look without the "front skirt". Does it look the same as the non-sport variant? Is it noticeable that the skirt is missing?

    Yes it is removable but not easy to detach. You'll need tools to remove it as it is drilled in front bummper.

    It will still look a sports edition with roof rails and sports roll bar.

    Tip of advice: Buy it before the price increase. This car will skyrocket to 1.8M for sure next year.

    P.s. I'll post my review with pics tomorrow

    2017 Nissan Navara Sports Edition 4x2 6mt 2.5TD EL SV

    Name: Hank McCoy
    Birth Month/Year: June 2017
    Tint: None
    Accessories: Rain Visors
    Security: Alarms to be installed today will update. Will cost me 7k to install both in casa
    Upgrades: None as of the moment. Everything looks awesome!
    Fuel: Shell V-Power Diesel
    Mileage: 56Km
    Maintenance: Not yet
    Max Cargo Load Reached: My weight, 65kg

    Issues:
    - Clutch is too high for me (will have this adjusted on my first pms)
    - Turning radius is too big, you need to take another lane to u-turn on a 2 lane road.
    - Sports bar is so beautiful, but unfortunately only roller bed cover can be installed at the back. Still waiting for a better alternative

    Known issues on predecessors that are not present:
    - Kalampag sounds on steering wheels when hitting speed bumps

    Credit is good bro. My boss always encourages me to take a mortage on the house or any properties as it will give him the assurance that I will stay long with the company.

    Sounds like he really needs you more than you need him bro. He's not shy about dangling debt bondage to keep you hehe.

    It might be just a mental thing, but I tend to chicken out of any long term debt. I still have 5 years of monthly debits. Hard to plan long term without a steady paycheck! A car loan would add a couple more years. Problema the wife wants an Innova so replacing the pickup is gonna be hard to justify.

    Pero konti na lang bro mabubuyo na ako. Seems everyone is getting a new car this year. ☺

    Agree! Took me 3 years to really plan this out well. Car is a luxury. Wouldn't consider it as investment if wouldn't be used for a business. But as long as I'll have it for a lifetime, why not! :D
    Anyways, good luck to you and to your purchasing decisions in the future.

    Bought this cause I know I won't afford this next year. Excise tax is effective on 01/01/2018.

    So, nagbabalik! Kakatapos lang ng 1k checkup and eto yung mga issue na encounter

    * Clutch Height - hindi na maadjust sa 2017 edition unlike 2016
    * Exhaust sa vent - amoy sa labas na pumapasok sa airocn. Safety feature to ng navara para just in case makatulog sa sakyan hindi massuffocate. But man I don't sleep inside my car. So pinaseal ko na fully. Okay naman na.
    * Windshield washer - mahina ang buga sa windshield hindi umaabot sa mejo upper portion ng salamin

    Still not present
    * Kalamapag on steering wheel

    Sa fuel naman, eto na yung mga natry ko
    * Shell V-Power
    * Petron Turbo-Diesel

    Kung san na lang makamura pero parehas performance.

    mine was delivered today. a savanna orange sport 4x4. production date was May 2017. i'll also monitor the issues already mentioned. short term upgrade i think would be the low beam to LED. long term upgrade and i think it takes more of my time and effort is remapping my ECU for increased torque/hp. so far looks elegant.

    What do you mean sir "not present" yung kalampag sa steering? Or still present?
    Base in my experience 1st i use petron diesel pero mataas fuel consumption ko. Then switch to shell yun mas gumanda. Before 8-9km/L ngayon 8-11km/l

    almost one month now of daily use. so far ride has been exhilarating! the 1K free check up was done and i switched to nitro *35psi. the ride is even more comfortable for a pickup. nasabi tuloy ni esme na. "may pickup kana, may SUV ka pa". my wife is gradually adapting to the heavy steering but she is now confident. I don't think i will bother the LED headlights but i'm not satisfied with the fogs.

    Glad you're all happy with your units. Not in the market for one right now but if I were, the first thing to go for me would be all those stickers.

    Nissan Ph seems to have not gotten the memo that everyone else has stopped using them.

    Same bro. Pero I am planning for the bed cover. Topup would be releasing specific sa sports edition na covers. I don't have any idea how it would look like but I can't wait to see.

    Mine just reached 5km mark. More than happy with it.
