    Hi Guys,

I need your expert opinion on VANS. We are planning to get one this July.

We are looking at the ff:

    1) Local Lite Ace - May nabasa na akong forum dito.
    2) JDM Lite Ace - Kaunti na lang ang nagbebenta.
    3) JDM na Mazda Old Body Bongo (parang E2000) - Alwayz_Yummier gave me an idea na..
    4) Delica - I have an idea na after reading so many threads.

    5) Serena (JDM) - Clueless pa ako dito. I heard, mahirap raw ang spare nito ??

    6) Hyundai Grace - Wala pa rin ako masyadong info rito..

These above mentioned vans have similar price ranges kaya dito ako namimili unless you guys can give your 2 cents on my above list.

    Salamat po !

I suggest the Hyundai Grace for the following reasons:
    * original LHD, no conversions
    * parts aplenty and dirt cheap!
    * shares platform with local Mits. L-300 exceed

We have one and we are really happy with it. Like what I said, parts are dirt cheap and relatively easy to maintain.

    +1

IMO napaka delikado ang mga converted vehicles.

If you can, stay away from Subic or converted vehicles, its really hard and very rare to find a good one...

Overheat: Never. We always check the water lever of the radiator. Di naman masyadong nababawasan except in very heavy traffic but still, it never happened.
A/C: We got the Grace without an A/C so nagpa-sadya kme. Dual-aircon sya and we spent roughly around Php35k for it about 5 years ago. Malamig yung a/c and comfortable.

I can't really say because our Grace is my dad's daily driver. My dads says na matipid talaga. He sold his Benz for a Grace! Kse nga because of it's affordability in terms of aquisition and maintainance.

What VAN (JDM or Local) to buy ???
