I read in the Philippine Daily Inq (Aida Sevilla-Mendoza's article) today that Nissan will be launching the long and over due Teana here in the Philippines next year to replace the Cefiro. Also, the article mentioned that the Outlander, Yaris, Escape (media preview next month), Tribute and some other cars (I forgot) will be out next year.

hmmmm....I just wonder what happend with the Chevrolet Equinox? I heard it should hit Chevy showrooms this month.

Teana is coming next year but I just love the looks of the Fuga

but at least they are replacing the Cefiro which has been facelifted a lot of times.

I could still remember that this Cefiro (Gen2 here) came out in 1996 (10 years ago). ANd yeh, I was in gradeschool then. Nagkaron pa nga ng pre-Yulon Cefiro Elite. But the best Cefiro facelift for me was the Brougham series. Finally, the Teana is coming. As usual huli ang Philippines. According to the article, high demand daw sa US and other parts ng globe ang reason kung bakit nadelay yung Teana dito. I think the Teana will be imported from Thailand.

I think same as the Isuzu Crosswind thread... hindi pa ubos ang inventory ng Cefiro kaya di pa sila makabenta ng bago....

You might end up buying a Teana . I saw your posts during the initial discussions regarding the new Santa Fe.

    Infinity G350?
On a side note I think the Mazda Tribute will no longer be sold here in the US replaced by the CX-7.

The Tribute will go on for a while here... the CX7 slots in above the Tribute, and would be too expensive for the local market... unless there's really a big market for the Pilot-Murano class.

The Fuga is actually the same as the Infiniti M35/45... bigger and more muscular than the G-series, and a competitor for the 5-series.

The Teana is really long overdue... what are they going to do? Sell us first generation ones, as other markets finally get the facelifted Teanas next year? Damn Yulon... is it any wonder I don't buy Nissans anymore? (despite being a huge Nissan fanboy...) They've ruined the love, for me...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

looks good inside and out, interior feels and looks nice too. but i find the ride a bit harsh, not too well damped imho. but its a good replacement for the ageing cefiro.

rode on it a few times when I was in Taiwan. they have a lot of teana taxis.

Sayang nga lang. May left-hand version din ito na binebenta sa mainland China and sold as a "FUGA" (also CBU from Japan). Mas maganda kasi kung naibenta 'to as a Nissan.

Too bad that without demand and without $$$$ from high-end buyers, we won't see this till model as a Nissan.

Without an intent order, the only way to get this car is to wait for the next-gen model (4 more years pa) then by the time, meron na Infiniti sa Japan kaya the "FUGA" name will not exist anymore. It will be the new Infiniti M.
