did it came with an instruction manual? tell him to read the manual.
AFAIK, it came with an in-line fuel filter (just like on small gasoline cars).
Just trace the fuel line and you are bound to find it.![]()

If its not under the hood. It might be under the vehicle, beside the ladder frame . Take a peek under the driver side of the vehicle.
HTH
On gas powered Pajeros, the fuel filter is bolted along the frame rails of the chassis. On Vitaras, it is on the fuel line as it exits the fuel tank.
It might not be too different on the Patrol. Yup, it should be on the owner's manual.

yep, sundan mo lang yung tube kung saan dumadaan yung gas mo from the tank, sure na it's just along that tube![]()
tsong how much kuha ng bro mo sa patrol na gas? '98mdl ba yun na all options? alam ba nyo peeps?
OT: di ba lakas lumaklak ng gas yong nissan patrol 4500? before there's a tsikoteer with that problem, and thought of converting it to diesel pero di rin natuloy dahil sa laking abala.
nagkandahilo mechanic paghanap ng filter. he traced the lines from the tank in the bottom. we thought it would be just like opels and bmw's na nasa ilalim but walang nakita. we also ckecked the engine bay, hindi pa rin makita. dami tubes tabi injection wala makita. meron filter looking medyo malaki siya, nung binaklas vacuum lang pala. i just told my bro to get the manual from the previous owner or ask him paras malaman talga. thanks mga peeps anyway.
i looked for the fuel filter for the gas engine in the manual, there was no mention whatsoever of a fuel filter for a gas engine.
is it possible not to have a fuel filter? can the fuel filter be placed inside the fuel tank?
anyway, the best option now is to go the a nissan casa.
a nissan mechanic told me hindi pa siya nagpalit ng filter ng gas engine. another one said it could be in the gas tank, though di pa siya nagbaba o open ng tank. i'll have it checked underneath if there's a lid where it can be opened to reveal the filter.
