    hi guys,

im planning to buy a second hand car and this ad caught my attention:

Nisssan Sentra FE 2000 Exalta Look
    Maroon, stick shift
    Power steering/door locks
    Leather seats
    15"Mags(modern brand)
    1300cc 10-12km/liter fuel consumption

Is 240K reasonable for this car? or should i check for others?

Is nissan a good choice to buy a second hand car? What about the maintence for nissan? Is it high? fuel?

please help me decide on what to look when buying for second hand cars.

    Thanks!

tawaran mo ng 200k. Fuel consumption for that year model is good... the next gen Sentras are the heavy ones, but that one was still light and very powerful for a 1.3.

Nice car, light, little insulation... suspension stiffer than the higher end models and the rear drum brakes are very good, considering.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

thanks for the reply, i have also seen honda city 2001 model for the price of 275K, now i'm confused as to where i can have a better use of my money, if i spend 275K for a honda city or 240K (or 220K if they give to that price) for the nissan 2000 FE. Can you help me decide? What would you suggest for a budget of 250-270K for a second hand car? Im looking for low maintenance but "maporma".

    Thanks! =)

Civic LXi or VTi. The first-gen Honda City is waaaay overpriced (I see asking prices between 225-275), whereas you can get a previous generation VTi for 240-260 (if you're VERY lucky) and an LXi for around 250 or less. I still don't understand how City owners can justify their secondhand prices, given the simplicity of the car and its tendency to rust.

Of course, you can get the Sentra FE for close to 200k (IMHO, it should be there already! these cars cost only 500k brand new!) and parts and maintenance will be very easy, while giving more space than the old City.

so you mean there are honda civic lxi 2000 model on range of 250K -270? What about ford lynx ghia 2000 model, will this fit for 250K - 270K budget? is this a good car as well? now im really confused coz i've been seeing a lot of ads. I really want to get a model of year 2000 or 2001 that will fit and justify my budget.

Ahhh... LXi and VTi in your budget are kinda old... mga 96 or 97 yata.

Exaltas are nice rides... just a lot of stuff to take care of (too many toys. )... last I saw, though, over 300k pa rin ang year 2000 Exaltas.
