HELLO! i'm new here. i live in the hi-lands of Bontoc, Mt. Province.
I would like your guidance.
i'm planning to buy a used safari. my choices are posted at car finder. there's the '96 model that is already modified and a stock '98 model. their price range is not that far, as posted, mga 20thou ang difference. don't know the body condition of the two safaris, as yet.
ang mods ng '96 is lifted suspension, after market coils and shocks, snorkels, chrome mags and 33 tires.
ganyan din ang balak ko na mods should i get a stock safari, plus steel front and rear bumpers and a winch. in-the-length-of-time ha.
sooo given those, what you say? and can you give me an idea on how much will i be spending should i get a stock and apply the mods i want.
bbrave - there's nothing wrong in getting a car with aftermarket mods already especially performance mods. Just make sure that they are all in good condition.
In this case, check the shocks for leaking or busted ones.
Remember, there are bargain deals that are really as good as they appear. Deals like these save you a heap of money and the 'hit and miss' factor in putting on the mods yourself.
Well... the two year difference between the two models might the reason why they are relatively priced similarly.
Although you cannot really compare used vehicles based on what is just posted in the car finder... check it out for yourself... test drive it... bring a mechanic... etc.
