August 12th, 2004 01:49 PM #8Late ang styling ng Patrols, yung LC60 = Y60/GQ models. Yung LC80 = Y61/GU naman.
But underneath they are almost the same. Yung mga hardcore 4x4 fans kinakabahan sa bagong modelo ng Patrols baka sundin yung design ng LC100 na IFS, ayaw nilang mawala ang solid front diffs.

August 12th, 2004 09:37 PM #9They are similar in the way that the Mitsubishi Pajero and the Isuzu Trooper are similar.
They use the same basic formula but they don't share a single part.
The LC and the Patrol ang both fullsize SUV's using a ladder frame with live axles on both ends. The similarities end there.
They are vehicles separately designed, developed and manufactured.

ano pong LC version yung local PRADO GX, yung succsessor ng new PRADO.. hehe
