Nissan Sentra GX 2005 Automatic Trasmission

Good day gurus, me and my wife just brought a 2005 Nissan Sentra GX AT. Ok naman sya nung tinest drive and nung inuwi namin wala naman naging problema (from Fairview to Canlubang Laguna). A few days after we brought the unit, nagkaproblema sa transmission. We were on SLEX when we heard a loud clicking sound followed by a grinding sound. After that hindi na nagrereverse ung auto kahit nakashift na sa reverse. Nung pinatingnan namin sa mekaniko, selector daw ang problema but when we searched for a second opinion, transmission na daw mismo ang problema (kaya pagumaabante my garalgal or grinding sound) and kelangan palitan ung transmission which costs about 25k and up pag surplus. Me and wife does not have an idea how much an automatic transmission really costs and we would really appreciate it if you guys could give us an idea. If anyone has had the same problem, we would appreciate any advice you can give us. Thanks. Good day.

bro, try to call and get an appointment with leonard bulaong AT specialist in banawe (02) 749 6586 ; 0932 147 7142. a few months back our xuvi was diagnosed to have transmission problem that needs replacement which cost around 100k, when we brought to bulaong for checking and repair, it only cost 18k and now its back to smooth driving condition

I also suggest AM Bulaong in Kaliraya St. sa banawe. They fixed At transmission of my pregio couple of months ago and my friend's crosswind a week a go. They did a good job...Kung wala si Leonard look for his father Alex...

Salamat sa advice. As it turns out sira na talaga yung transmission and sa Banawe din dinala for replacement which costs 22k. I guess that is a risk that comes with buying a second hand car, definitely a lesson learned. Again, thnx a lot for your responses and good day!
