Hehe.

Among the small displacement bikes, the latest release from Yamaha, XSR 155, ang pinaka gwapo. Hawig sa big brothers 700 and 900.

Tried the XSR 700, its much better ride the 900. Lighter kasi.

I saw the xsr 155 in the showroom, oh man hindi nga mukha 155cc. Gwapo talaga pre. Though prefer ko talaga sport bike stance.

I personally felt uncomfortable, tiring when I’m on a sport bike.

We’re about the same height 6’1, masakit sa back ang sport bike.

Well to each his own, if youre happy with it, go.

yes, especially kung gagamitin mo as commuter bike o pang long ride. kelangan comfortable ka sa bike unless gusto mo talaga porma ng bike at sakto sa paggagamitan mo.

Yes sir, on display na. Actually ang xsr 155 ang pilit na pinapabili sa akin nung sales guy, he even told me na bagong model na nilabas ng Yamaha yun. Great bike btw, I tried to hopped in, the xsr 155 felt awesome. Mas prefer ko lang talaga yung sport bike category kaya I chose the r15.

yes, mga modern classic or modern retro look. maliit na version siya ng XSR700 at XSR900. it caters to both young and old riders na gusto yung mga classic style na ride. kaya lang 2 colors lang available, silver and black, wala yung white/red combo na classic talaga

same engine sila ng r15. ganda ng xsr155 pwede gawing brat or cafe racer setup kung mahilig mag mods ng ride. imho, sana isinama na ng Yamaha phils yung abs o kaya 2nd variant na may abs.

Actually every japanese brand have their own modern retro/classic even in small displacement engines.

Aside from the Yamaha xsr155, Kawasaki has the W175, classic looking. To the uninitiated it may look like a old motorcycle, pang tricycle look. But if its silver and have tan seats, it looks good.

While Honda has the cb150r streetster, though di pa narelease locally, modern retro like the xsr.

Sa ibang foreign sites, yung MT07 din for comparison against it even though 4-cylinder yung CB650R.

I checked the price last year. The MT07 is around 420k while the CB650R is around 500k. Yung Honda Rebel 500 is now on discount at 385k.
