I know nothing about bikes... But me (and my wife) are planning to give one to a relative soon...

    Help!!!

We're looking at something that has the following:

    1. Underbone (or scooter) - I feel like mas malayo mararating ng underbone (no offence to scooter owners)
    2. electric starter
    3. I prefer someting with gears pero wala na sanang clutch (is this possible?)
    4. can seat 2 adults
    5. parts availability is really important
    6. cheaper is better

I checked on line for possible options (para hindi naman mukhang walang alam when visiting showrooms)

    KYMCO Visa R 110 ROYAL
    HONDA Wave 110 Alpha

    Any other suggestions?

Pang-araw-araw lang sana yung bike... pa lupit na kasi ng pa lupit traffic...

I'd go with Honda. I have a 10-yr old Honda Wave 125. Minimal maintenance lang at natakbo pa din.

IMO: Honda make then within 100-110cc. Any variant as long as Honda.
Parts are everywhere and mechanic also.

Subok sa akin ang honda (CBF110)

    Thanks for the replies.

I'm not limiting my choices between the 2 bikes I mentioned. I haven't even seen them in person.

Does Honda bikes still have a clutch?

Pag city driving and malapitan lang. I prefer scooter. Relax driving lang.

Hi. Honda wave was not a bad choice, theres a gear but theres no clutch. Very good fuel consumption too. But if u really want relax ride i recomend yamaha mio any variant. Though FC wave is much better. Price wise just drop by to any shop or dealer. Just stay away from those copycat china made motorbikes.

here is the equivalent thread at motorcycle ph forum

honda wave dash alpha 110 or kymco visa r 110

people there seems to be in favor of the honda...

    1. Underbone (or scooter) - I feel like mas malayo mararating ng underbone (no offence to scooter owners) - mas malayo ang underbone kase semi-automatic siya...

    2. electric starter - all are equipped already AFIK

    3. I prefer someting with gears pero wala na sanang clutch (is this possible?) yes - underbone semi-auto no clutch | scooter - full automatic

    4. can seat 2 adults - both underbone and scooter can do this

    5. parts availability is really important - just stick with the established brand

    6. cheaper is better - you get what you payed for...
