The Raider 150 might be too much bike for you if you're a beginner, since it's a 6-speed manual with a powerful engine. But as long as you drive at low revs, it's not hard to get used to it, and it comes with an electric starter nowadays. Still... it's more for dedicated racers... good suspension, great brakes... really fast...

A Mio might be a more newbie-friendly ride.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    Thank you po sa reply.

You got a good point, cause there is a possibility that my wife and my teenager sons might use it also.

isn't it Hayate, Nouvo and Mio are using some king of a fan belt rather than using chain? i don't think it'll last long on endurance rides.. i think it can only last a few years depending on how you maintain it. and if it gets old be sure the throttle is in perfect condition cuz i already got 2 friends injured on a stuck throttle. how can u stop it? there's no clutch, you can't put it to neutral. kill the engine maybe? id still prefer the Raider 150.. its a matter of getting used to it. it'll be better if get used to driving a manual transmission than automatic. cuz if you can drive manual, of course you're far better using an automatic, right? you won't be a newbie forever! you'll get used to it after doing a couple of laps so why use automatic? its just the same as riding a bike and driving a manual transmission car, you'll get used to it.

well that's only my opinion.. good luck on your choice!

im leaning more on to mio3.

or better yet try the mio soul. may mura siya sa mio3. i prefer yamaha for its really easy to find parts for replacement.

planning to get one for myself. will need to replace my peugeot speedfight soon.

Powerwise, all of these bikes are ok for starters naman but if you ask me, I think Mio 3 is an excellent beginner bike. Has very low seat, flat stepboard for easy mount/dismount, and looks good also.

For storage, you can get a GIVI box so underseat space is not really a factor.
