Another nice modern old-school style bike... too bad, I think its not available here.
    Triumph's new Bonneville and Thruxton.

    Triumph Bonneville T100

    Triumph Thruxton

Even the new DOHC 4-valve per cylinder parallel-twin was made to look like the original OHV engine.

What make and size do you have in mind? Ganyan naman talaga yan Bro, a big bike starts as a dream

If you persist hard enough you can get your dream bike .

well, i think i'll be contended with yamaha R6, but i really dont have any idea, all i know is it has 600cc and it looks good, hehe, maybe if i ever have that i wont be contented and buy a bigger pa, but right now, i dont know where to start, scooter? mini bike? no idea, i dont even know how to look at what bikes is still in good condition or is a good buy

For me, a good start up bike can be anything basta may clutch na. It's better that you get used to driving a clutch bike than the automatics (like XRMs, Wave 125s) especially that you will be eventually be moving up to middleweights like the R6.

By the way, my cousin has an '06 R6 that I was able to take out a few times. In the looks/form dept, its definitely a headturner , the fairing's design is simply ahead of its time. But then I was a bit disappointed with its powerband because you need to take it to at least 10,000 rpm to really feel its "kick" meaning at lower rpms it doesen't pull like a 600 . But then that's just my observation.

Yamaha's have always been high rev engines to get power because of their powerband even with the R1 you need to rev it. If you want more mid range power the GSX-R600 would be a better choice. Nice bike BTW.

Yup, that's true about Yamas. Just an added note, when the R6 does kick in, it pulls like a 750! Pure bliss if you ask me . I love gsx-r's too but that Hayabusa scares the s#!t outta me (but then again that's even more bliss!)
