basically, compound >polish > then finishing (wax or paint sealant/protectant)

evaluate mo muna kung kaya ng polish then no need to use compound which needs expert professional as this may ruin your paint finish if not done properly.

I agree with XTO completely. Ask a professional to do it for you. Mahirap na kung sa huli magsisi.

may gasgas un kotse ko sa hood. mga 2inch. tnry ko tanggalin gamit rubbing compound. natanggal nman kaso parang nagiba un kulay nya. nagkaroon ng markang bilog dun sa area na nlagyan ko ng rubbing compound. maayos pa kaya to? halata kapag naiilawan.

It depends on the severity of the scratch. Some light scratches could be tackled by a scratch remover, other deep ones require more aggressive products like compounds.

Just keep in mind to use the least aggressive product first, and do a test spot on an inconspicuous area. Thus, if you were to look at some products using those criteria, you first have to either use a glaze, a cleaner wax, or a pre-wax cleaner before using a scratch remover. If all these products are not enough for the task, then a polish or a compound may be in order.

You may be able to safely reduce it to barely noticable, but you won't be able to completely remove it without eating up too much of your clear coat.

magpa-double wax ka na lang sa big bert's! nagpa-double wax ako nong weekend, bawas swirl marks and light scratches and yong watermarks tanggal. hindi ka pa pagod!

minsan wala kang choice kung malalim ang scratch, kailangan talaga ng rubbing compound. gagamitan mo lang ng scratch remover kung hair line scratches lang. Di kaya ng scratch remover ang malalim na gas gas.

Sa car wash namin, minsan pinipilit ng customer and scratch remover, pero explain namin ng maayos para di ma frustrate or disappointed.

Pinaka maganda para makaiwas, panatiliing malinis ang sasakyan. Para di magka scratch.
