The Civic FB was not well received unlike the older FD and newer FC. It tried so hard to become an Altis and the Modulo kits made it look ricey.

Yan ba yung mga galing Thailand? I think that also contributed to the low-rep unlike the earlier Civics that were Made In Japan. I actually like that generation styling-wise.

There were Japan CBU units of the Civic FB sold locally. They were not fully loaded with features compared to the Thailand-built units and they were more expensive.

Based on how buyers respond to Civic generations, there are generations that ends up being not much adored. The ES platform (2001-2005) also suffered the same fate as it was in between two good platforms, EK (1996-2000) and FD (2006-2011).
