di advisable na gamitin ang teflon sa drain plug. may possibly na malusaw ito sa sobrang init ng makina kaya may possibly din magka leak oil. ang mura lang naman ng OHR O-ring so hwag na sanang makipagsapalaran.

try replacing the washer or o-ring of the drain plug, as the bench suggested.
teflon tape? well, it's got a pretty high melting temp.. it is used in non-stick frying pan surfaces.. but i am not sure of its resistance against oil..
i am more comfortable with washers in cars. siguro kung nawasa pipe..

with all due respect pls, ang isang gamit ng washer ay para di mag grind/rub together ang bolt sa substrate kapag tightening ang bolt. so ang washer ay ang protection sa substrate pag tightening ang bolt. hence applying this principle in a car, aluminum engine block = drain plug for substrate = bolt respectively.
