sa mga adventure owners po... have you experience na may tagas yung drain plug sa radiator..
my ride is 2012 Advie GLX... napansin ko nababawasan yung coolant.

Teflon tape did stopped the leak. But make sure hindi loose thread yung drain plug. Otherwise, replace it. :-)

try replacing the washer or o-ring of the drain plug, as the bench suggested.
teflon tape? well, it's got a pretty high melting temp.. it is used in non-stick frying pan surfaces.. but i am not sure of its resistance against oil..
i am more comfortable with washers in cars. siguro kung nawasa pipe..

with all due respect pls, ang isang gamit ng washer ay para di mag grind/rub together ang bolt sa substrate kapag tightening ang bolt. so ang washer ay ang protection sa substrate pag tightening ang bolt. hence applying this principle in a car, aluminum engine block = drain plug for substrate = bolt respectively.

What the doc was implying was copper or aluminum gasket similar to those used in Beater Double U and Mercedes beans
