    Does anyone have an idea where to get the G-Wagon (thai Monty Sport) third row seats and external spare tire carrier? Will these work on a local Monty Sport?

    i think it will work, i like the spare tire carrier, for me it completes the suv look. those under the body spare tires don't appeal to me. try mo sa sp, i think they can bring it in but im not sure how much??? u buying? how much ba montero sport right now?

    Not for me. Ok pa ko sa ating Pajero. hehehe. Php 1.5M ang MS ngayon. At least walang mga problema like Fortuner kasi proven na ang drivetrain at chassis. Old school pero tigasin.

    Not so expensive pa ang maintenance! :D

    AGREE!!! IMO, mas ok sakin ang proma nya lalo na yung white... yan ang dream SUV ko ngayun... khit may fortuner,patrol,expi,durango eh wala pa din tatalo sa MS... sana magkaron na ako ng ganyan...

    Yung local na Monty Sport na available right now sa mga Mitsu dealers eh outsource ba sya sa Thailand or Japan?

    It's too expensive for a 1996 car... (C'mon, it came out almost 10 years ago and Mitsu Phil is selling it as bnew hehe)...

    Just think of it as buying a classic.

    Yeah, and I'm one of the guys who almost jumped in line for the Hyundai Galloper (too bad all were gray units at the time).

    All local Monty Sports are produced in Thailand AFAIK. But I have to verify.

    4M40 ba ang engine ng Montero Sport? If yes, low tech but very reliable. Pwedeng DIY lang ang maintenance.

    I just pulled-out the turbo charger and the manifold housing of my 4M40; installed a new repair kit (coz its spouting oil already); had the housing manifold sand blasted at a machine shop, and re-installed back to the engine.

    Yup, low tech but very manageable to maintain.

    maganda talaga ang exterior ng MS, but for strada owners like me, malamang pass na kami dyan. they share the same interior dashboard and I'm just bored stiff sa dash kong makaluma hehehe
