Guys, did you notice something that everytime you park your monty (the engine is stop), you hear a "tok" sound in the engine? (let's say one "tok" sound per every 5 minutes or less..then after a few minutes, the weird sound will be gone..ano kaya yun?

baka may maluwag lang sa may ballast..had that same problem..best thing is papalitan mo na habang maaga or tgnan mo kung makukuha pa sa para paraan nila. but better if papalit mo na .

nacontact ko na binilhan ko mga sirs..
papalitan daw niya ballast ko para sure.. pero pag ganun padin daw..
check daw niya wirings ko.. btw..
mejo hindi ako nagagandahan sa shocks... what to do??
palitan to Bilstein?? and found out pala that yung CASA over-inflated
my tire.. front nasa 33 both then rear 38..
pinabawasan ko to 29 front and 32 sa rear..
anu effect if nagpalagay nalang ako ng nitrogen??

by the way.. Zenon pala brand ng HID ko..
from Blueline sa banawe..
nagpopost kasi siya sa KAC kaya sakanya ako nakapg inquire..
pero sa ibang HID na kinabit niya.. wala naman problem..
made in korea daw yung zenon e..

please correct me if i'm wrong..
i think its the sound of super heated metal/s affected by the turbocharger "cooling" down to ambient temperature. as metals are subjected to high temp, it expands in micro mm causing them to "push" each other. and when the heat is removed, they go back to their "normal" size slowly which causes the "tok" sound..
i've seen turbocharged mitsu evo's already parked without the driver but the engine is still idling then suddenly it will turn off by itself. meron palang set timer so the turbocharger/engine can cool down before it totally shuts down..
oh, yes i also hear that "tok" sound in my monty just after parking..

for those who signed up, pls reconfirm, the venue will be XAVIER School sports center court (wooden) and the tentative time will either be 9:30-11:30 or 10-12.. either schedule, we can all meet up at the parking lot for a short eb, photo ops at 9am. and not to mention ample time for stretching, for the oldies, before playing. Definitely this will be held on nov21 next saturday.

let me know if there are reactions, violent or not, to the schedule and venue.

sir, totally normal as metal parts heat and cool off, expand and contract... it has nothing to do with turbos..even non turbo gas fed cars would produce these tick noise after shutting down their engine.
