Matagtag ba ang Pajero?

May isang thread kasi akong napansin na pinag-uusapan yung 2003 Expedition. Nabanggit dun na matagtag daw ang Pajero at mas ok pa yung suspension ng Trooper... Pinakamaganda daw ang 2003 Expedition dahil hindi mo mararamdaman normal potholes... Totoo ba ito?

As a kid, I always thought kasi na sobrang swabe ride ng Pajero... Yung Gen III na Pajero kaya ganun din?

i think depende sa model ng pajero... meron kasi yun bago na pwede i-select yun shock mo. may 3 settings na soft, medium at hard. ewan ko pero based on my experience... mas ok ang ride ng pajero sa trooper. lalo na yun luma na trooper. tingin ko mas ok din ang pajero than safari kung ride lang din basta naka set sa soft yung shock

Tolerable naman ang ride ng Pajero. Still way better than most pick up trucks even if fitted with All Terrain tires (like mine). Mas malambot pa siguro kung H/T or S/T ang goma.

I've ridden in Djerms UBS69 Trooper and halos pareho lang ang ride. Not really a world of difference. Mas magaling lang in masking small road imperfections yung Trooper (due to the tires perhaps?), pero pareho din ang comfort level overall.

Yung Expedition, ibang usapan na iyan talaga. Hehehe. Standard ang air suspension dito sa Pinas, eh (optional ito sa US).

Yung Gen III ba kapag lumabas mas ok ride comfort kaysa sa recent na Pajero? Ok sana Expedition, kaya lang malakas sa gasolina saka ang hirap dalhin sa Metro Manila.

The GEN III will never ride as smoothly as an Expedition of the same age, pero I guess it will be more comfortable than the GEN II since it is independent suspension all around. Why don't you test drive a gray market GEN III to find out?

Oo nga pala... Sana iretain lahat ng Mitsubishi Philippines yung specs ng Pajero Gen III.

pajero tonka (stock dueler tires)is less bumpy compared to blister(dueller HT), kahit na naka soft yung adjustable suspension, naging bouncy naman siya. Medium setting ko parati, pakiramadam ko most compfortable setting. IMO. used both pajero for several years.

sir otep: walang air suspension yung 2003 expedition, nabasa ko sa manual bababa daw yung car pag pinatay mo engine. Buti pa yung previous expedition meron.

less bumpy ba ang stock dueler compared sa stock 16s(HT) ng blister paj?ako kac tlgang soft ang setting ng shocks pero i feel jarred pa rin pag may uneven roads e.tapos pag pangit na yung daan, sunod-sunod na yung squeaks na maririnig ko from d second row seats pati yung jump seats sa likod.damn, nakakairita tlga.hav u tried oder brands na 16 ang size?

pareho tayo problem. ganyan din 2nd row ko. nagipit na ako ng basahan in between chairs tsaka yung plastic cover ng rear wheel well na dumidikit sa chair ng 2nd row, sa may pinto. wa class sobra. pero yung sa 3rd row natanggal ko na yung sound. nagipit ako ng unan na maliit in between sandalan and window. nawala yung tunog. sa 2nd row talaga wala nanag pagasa. nagkikiskisan yung leather,
di ko rin masabi kung sa gulong yung difference. baka dahil sa chair ng tonka(with springs). mas mababa rin height ng tonka. mas maganda rin mag corner yung tonka. kung meron ka pa idea paano improve ride let me know.

Ung pajero ko 8 months pa lang dami ring squeaks coming from 2nd row and third row. Kairita talaga di ko ma solve kahit anong setting ng shocks lalot mabilis ang takbo sa uneven roads. Ginawa ko na medyo reclined ung 2nd row seats medyo nawala ung squeaks, ung kiskisan ng leather meron pa din. Ung 3rd row medyo ganun din kumakalampag ung jump seats pag naka fold kaya naka baba na lang ung seats kung di ko kailangan ung space sa likod.
Pero I noticed na pag may nakaupo sa 2nd row nawawala ung ingay coming from there.

Iyan pala problem nung recent na Pajero... Nakakainis talaga kapag may umiingay sa sasakyan mo tapos hindi mo makita...

Ok talaga Exped, masyado lang malakas sa gas...

matagtag talaga Gen2 Pajero simply because of the way it's designed and built, and comparing it to the Exped is like comparing a civic to an accord. First of all 1991 pa yung design nung paj so its rather antiquated. secondly, consider the weight of the expedition. Heavier cars often ride better. Theres still hope for the paje however, Changing shocks will greatly improve the ride. :wink:


wombat || Severus:: i have the same problem with the second row seats. squeaky talaga! But i just had my seats re-upholstered, nawala yung ingay. dont know what they did.
