    after months of work, part hunting, haggling for prices....
    (and asking questions from the gurus here at tsikot) hehe

    finally my restoration project is done

    sheep:::ang lupet!!! parang land rover ang porma. nice job. pag nakakakita ako ng ganito na mimimiss ko yun gen1 ko. puwedeng puwede sa formal ocassions. wag mo ng lagyan ng tint...










    ...pero type ko yun leather wallet ;)

    5speed ... engine ay rebuilt binalik lahat sa orig so good as new no trace of smoke



    gastos? d naman unti unti naman d naman isang buhos
    mahirap kasi pag naghahanap ng parts sometimes kahit willing ka gumastos ay wala naman mabili na piyesa . mas mahirap hanapin yung mga decals, scuff plates, guages etc mga interior stuffs

    afrasay baka kaya mo nasabi mukhang land rover - dahil lang cguro sa roof rail and white mags

    balak ko nga talaga di lagyan ng tints - kaya lang baka pag nakita nila ang driver ay biglang pumangit ang sasakyan eheheh :P


    medium gray tints ok kaya? or magic neutral? medyo mainit kasi pag naka park ng matagal sa araw baka matusta ako. leatherette lang kasi ang seats ko


    or maganda kaya combination super black on all rear windows tapos windshield and 2 front windows magic neutral or medium gray?

    bad trip ang super black sa gabi..baka magsisi ka
    kapag walang maliwanag na ilaw sa paligid..black lang talaga makikita mo..hirap pumarada niyan..

    try mo yung sungard tint na katapat ng 3m dark magic..di ko alam yung tawag eh..
    its blacker than the 3m dark magic outside...kasi yung 3m medyo silvery..

    magic neutral will do. I have dark tints, mahirap talaga pag madilim lalo na pag yun mga PUVs na hindi naghe headlight. LR Discovery pala ang kamukha niya.

    :puyat: Wow!!! Puwede ka na mag-open ng restoration shop!!! Roughly how many months in the works yan? Pure restoration lang ba, or did you repaint the body?

    Better than brand new pa yan, kasi you did it yourself! It's the more valuable type of investment you made...

    ilang buwan ang inabot? binili mo ba nang 2nd hand yan? if ever me body repairs bang involve?

    hehehe pasok na sa classic category yan....hehehehe ni restore mo pala sa orig stock form eh....

    paolorenzo - mga almost 6 months for restoration and a little repainting. not including rebuilding the engine

    there were no body repair walang bangga ang rig dahil matagal na sa amin yan ...repaint lang. and restoration ng parts dahil ang daming sira pinanghaharabas kasi before ng older bro ko ang rig when he was still in sch
