    Hi guys! I'm planning to buy my first car this year, pero sa taas ngayon ng gas nagdadalawang isip na ako. Hindi ko pa kaya bumili ng SUV pero may nakita ako kanina sa buyandsell na Gen1 Pajero's na worth 200K+. Nabasa ko Gen1's cost 200K-300K ngayon. Ang problema parang mas magasto i-maintain ang isang old diesel. Di ko pa rin alam kung magkano aabutin ang isang 4D56 in case na kailangan ko magpalit. Konti pa lang kasi nareresearch ko dito. Thanks sa magiging input niyo guys, medyo inaantok na kasi ako... mamaya ko nalang babasahin. Gud am!

    Depende sa Unit kung 200K malamang marami pa pa ipapa ayos dyan.Pero kung yung Gen1 ko ang bibilin mo ehh wala kana ipapa ayos hehehehe... here is the pictures

    mura na 200k, just bring ur mechanic n have the engine check, if ok daw go ahead n buy it na. kung d subic, even better. mura n mabilis lang maghanap ng parts nyan so dnt worry too much.

    Thanks NightRock, KCBoy! Hirap kasi pag first time, di ko pa kapa ang pag pili ng kotse. Tatlong kotse na ang pinagpilian ko tapos kung kailan malapit na ako bumili magiiba uli ako ng isip. Kailangan ko pa kasi ng more info about Pajeros.

    may adrenalin pag gusto mo ng bilhin ang isang unit, mararamdaman mo pag yan na.Pag naramdaman mong walang pag aalinlangan at ang makita mong diperensya ay alam mo na madali lang gawin ay yun na yon. Para kang mag aasawa nyan kasi aalagaan mo yan at kung may asawa ka na? mgiging kabit na lang ang misis mo he-he-he.

    Gen 1 din ba ang pajero ko? ang unit ay di subic at 2 door soft top. its an original LHD. imported ang unit at ang sabi ng seller ay from Greece version daw ito. ang manual na kasama ng unit ay in Greeks and english language. ang engine code is 4G56 and i think 2.6 liters ito. please advice.

    another query..if u dont mind..

    saan kaya makakabili ng accessories ng ride ko? i've visited RIDES in banawe pero very limited ang accessories para sa pajero ko at ang mamahal. any shops with contact number is appreciated.

    btw. according to the seller. import daw yong pajero noong 1996 kaya starting with "U" ang plate. if converted daw it will be a newer plate. is it valid? i've serviced the car sa mechanic which is well versed sa mitsu and clarified that it is not a converted unit. here is another pic of the ride.

    sori guys at ang dami kong tanong. ngayon lang kasi ako nag ka 4x4 eh. oto lang ang previous ride ko eh.

    The GEN I Pajero is already a cult-classic. Hindi na iyan maluluma as long as you take good care of it. Unlike other models na sisikat and malalaos, the GEN I will always be popular.

    Lots of parts and services, too.

    The Greek Pajeros are also a good option basta ok ang unit and walang problema sa taxes.

    got it for Php 213K. found it sa carfinder and the asking price is Php 230K. the seller is from pasig. actually, i'm from batangas city and with cash on hand on that day ay nagkasundo kami sa Php 213K. ok lang ba ang price?

    Greek Pajeros are original LHD because LHD naman talaga sa Greece. What kind of accessories are you looking for? Armark 4x4 still has suspensions, body lifts, snorkels and other off-road bits for it.

    Other stuff like true skid plates, rock sliders, etc. can be custom made.

    Ang cute yan ah. Oo naman, worth ang Pajero. It has won so many Paris-Dakkar rallies kaya it's really worth it. Daming parts and it's easy to maintain. Yan SWB nga ang gusto ni Tess noon, yun galing sa Greece.

    I recently found a 3dr Gen1 Pajero hardtop orig LHD up for sale. Papers seem okay, tax paid. Body and chassis is also okay, but needs a washover paint job and interior needs some fixing. I also assume that the usual suspension and steering parts need replacing. Also, the windshield and all window gaskets need replacing, although not immediately. Everything seems to be complete except for some small items such as the sun visor, door panel clips, etc. My only real problem is that the turbo intercooled 4D56 needs a complete overhaul since oil is already spewing out when you lift the dipstick. The owner is asking 180K cash. My question is: Is this worth buying considering that I need probably at least 30K to overhaul the engine and a lot more to fix up everything else? I'm calculating that I'll probably be needing around 70K to 100K to fix up most of the problems I've seen. Please help me decide whether to get this or not. Thanks in advance.

    If estimate mo mga 100K ang magagastos mo... try mo hanap ng iba, baka may mas konti ang papaayos mo. Si Nightrock binebenta niya Gen1 niya.
