Old School Mitsubishi

Mga Sir, I'm planning to buy an old car to play with. I'm thinking of the following:

1976 Colt Galant (yung 2dr sana)
1980's Lancer Boxtype (GSR or GT pero medyo mahirap ata mag hanap ng GT)

Gusto ko nga sana American Car kaya lang alam ko medyo mahirap yung parts. If is there any other make and model na mas time worthy irestore, just post it here.

The mods I'm thinking is basically full body repaint and performance upgrades.

First time ko gagawin to kaya medyo kailangan ko ng payo from the experts

how about starlet sir TS? ganda din pang show and pang-takbo (sprint, drag, slalom...). na-drive ko yung modified na starlet nung barkada ko nung college days, ok din ang handling niya...

Hindi ko gano type yung starlet. Yan din yung kotseng balak naman irestore nung bro-in-law ko. So iba naman sana yung sa akin.

I've seen that Corolla on the road and it's really a head turner.

But then, Boxtypes aren't bad either..

Guys question naman..advisable bang maglagay ng coolant sa stock radiator ng 1977 Celeste? Sakit kasi sa ulo ng Celeste ang overheat eh...any advise pano ko ma-address ung overheat ng Celeste?

I'm still using our lancer 78 during weekends at pang grocery.

I have lancer 94 model. Gli. Bilog.ang tipid sa gas. Kaso may toyo ng konti.. nataas ang idle nya minsan pag nka on ang AC.. anu kya toyo nito

We had once the 78 (Straight tail light), two door - 4G33 engine. Changed the the tranny to 5 speed. Sarap patakbuhin nung time na yun, at ang tibay! Madali din maintenance. Had to let go sometime year 2004 dahil mabilis na din mabulok yung body nya. Nakakamiss tuloy. Haay!
