    yep! nakapagpalit na ko nyan before... di mo na kelangan tuklapin yun assembly ng compass sa loob. pwede mo rin palitan lang yun bulb. hmm.... nakalimutan ko na kung ilan volts... check nyo na lang dun sa likod ng mount ng bulb. check nyo kung ilan amperes saka yun voltage. i think 4 php lang yan sa mga electronic shops. medyo mabusisi tanggalin kasi you have to remove the contacts nung mount ng bulb bago mo sya makuha.... la lang.... share ko lang sa inyo kung trip nyo kalikutin yun ilaw... naghahanap kasi ako ng iba kulay na mga bulbs sa loob para palitan yun kulay ng instrument panel..

    kasama ata kasi yun bulb holder saka yun mga terminals plus yun cover na rubber nung bulb.. parang condom na green.. hehehe.. pero yun bulb lang is 4 pesos lang po

    Yup sa dealer ko kinuha. Wala kasi kina GlennSter saka sa Mit-Parts. Tamad na ko maghanap. Assembly siya. Plug and play na.

    Pero ordinary bulb lang siya. Similar to the one used sa backlighting ng mga sound systems and stuff.

    sir bakit po kailangan palitan ung bulb? kc ung sakin na compass blanko lang pero once in a while nagkakaron ng pero magulo, anu po kaya yun wiring lang o sira na talaga? saan po kaya pwede pacheck yun?

    Pinalitan ko yung bulb kasi nawala ang backlighting (yung orange/white depending on model). Pero yung LCD graphics niya nandun pa din although hindi nga makita dahil madilim.

    Pacheck mo saken? :D O kaya kay J. Atutubo (may thread ata siya dito).

    Im beginning to suspect that the gen 2.5's compass lighting is different from the gen2's.

    Minsan kasi medyo dark yung isang side ng bilog, kanina naman oks naman.

    Antayin ko na lang siguro bumigay...

    Hehe. napundi ko yung isang bulb ng compass ko while cleaning it yesterday. As confirmed, 2 ang bulb ng Gen2.5 compass. But na lang maraming stock ang El Dorado sa Cubao....

    ingat ka diyan, yung bilog na yon covers a screw, but to open it, kelangan nga sungkitin with a fine flat screwdriver. Take note, hindi mo tatanggalin yun, ibubuka mo lang to expose the screw.
