I have driven the 2012 GLS-V monty only for the past 4 days mga 1-2 hrs driving, sa lahat nung bago nyang upgrades yng cruise control for me is the most useful, lalo na sa NLEX. Yng aircon sa mid and third row cguro next, tried to shutoff the rear fans nung may passenger ako sa likod nabubugbog ako nung fan sa harap naman because I have to increase their output. Yng paddle shifter d ko masyado nagagamit.

For the issues, which I would also like to ask the other owners kng na experience nyo sya, pag nagshift ka sa drive from neutral parang d smooth o parang may subtle na kadyot pag binitiwan m yng brake habang d ka pa naka step sa gas. Planning to inquire about it sa casa pag 1000 checkup. I also noted a decrease in the acceleration from a standing start when I refilled the tank with our local diesel although baka lng naman gumaan lng yng paa ko sa accelerator, been used to driving a car. Lastly yng busina nya parang hilaw, parang kailangan ng mas malakas na horn. Overall I am currently happy with the monty, both with the ride and amenities. Sana pag nag PMS na sya happy pa din ako sa price and service. ;)

Okay naman at malamig rear a/c nung nakuha namin 2012 GLS-V this end of oct, My wife likes it more nga dahil the rear a/c can operate even the front ac is not. Lamigin kasi si misis na lagi ko katabi while driving..

Thank you Sir for your detailed observations! I am waiting for my 2012 GLS-V Quartz Brown Monty to be released tomorrow or on Wednesday. However, here's a few things I observed when I took it out for a test drive. Parang wala akong na feel nung ginamit ko yung paddle shifter. I tap the + paddle pero wala ata akong naramdaman na kahit ano and I did it a few times. Sa aircon, parang medyo mahina ata. I test drove it an inclined road in Antipolo with one section that is really steep. Ok namn ang hatak pero I was expecting more pa. So far yun pa lang na-observed ko. I'll be reporting more as soon as I get my hands on my Monty this week. : )

wow 2012 !!! i just learned from diamond that the 4x4 MS A/T 5speed is now powered by the 2.5liter vgt. (not the 3.2 anymore). ill be keeping an eye in this thread for updates for feedback. thinking of upgrading our 2010 4x2 MS to a 4x4...

Congratz sa mga naka 2012 montero at future owner sayang kung nakapag tiis sana ako kaso 6 months napakatagal kakainggit pero ganun pa man happy montero owner ako

in less than a week ako...nakaready na yun unit..sana umabot yun clearing ng pera till this week para mailabas na...25k discount,3m super dark tint,registration,EWD not sure,matting papalitan ko din naman and seat cover..can't wait to try and compare to the 3.2 4x4 before...

Mga Sir Newbie lang sa tsikot, registered for tips & mga exp ng mga naka monty. Just got my 2012 GLS-V monty last two weeks.

Halos same Exp w/Butchyboy, na exp ko din hangang ngayon na pag nag shift ako ng reverse or drive parang may kadyot na kakaiba.. hindi siya stable eh.. tapus same concerns w/other monty owners here, parang mahina yung hatak kapag simula. kaya lagi ako nag manual via paddle shift para mas malakas hatak.. Petron Diesel Max ang gas ko hangang ngayon mag 1k check-up nako..

Mga sir panu ba gamiten ung cruise control?? ayaw gumana pag pnress ko ung ON, bumababa parin ung takbo ko kahet nakalagay na sa Gauge na CRUISE... dapat ba may max na takbo para ma reach un.. tried it sa 60km and 85K, ayaw gumana..

nung orient kasi sa kasa, un nga sabi nung TECH, is press ko lang un ON, tapus kahet bumitaw na ung paa ko sa GAS, ung takbo niya is hindi bababa. Unless pindot ko ulet ung OFF..

nag ha-hang minsan ung GPS, kelangan umalis ka muna sa NAV then balek ka para ok.

-saka another question mga sir, para saan exactly ung turbo timer? paano pag hindi ka naman masyado mahataw tumakbo, diba ung turbo nag aactivate mga pag 100-120 ata ung takbo? tama ba?

so kapag wala nun, kelangan everytime na umaalis ka, pag park mo, hindi mo muna papatayin ung auto? appreciate your expertise and inputs mga sir.. TY

and btw to MS owners, have you tried using Seaoil Bioexceed? been using for a week now and very noticeable na tumipid ang MS ko and hindi na matapang ang amoy ng usok nya.
using diesel max / fuelsave diesel average ko is 10km/l and now im using seaoil I think makaka 12 km/l ako.
sa hatak wala ko naramdaman sa changes.
yun lang mahirap maghanap ng seaoil branch hehe

Bioxceed is euro 5 diesel which means lesser exhaust emission, better smell of fumes, quieter/smoother engine, lesser carbon deposits, all of which results in a healthier engine. The only downside is a slight drop in engine power.
