Great! Any other update aside from the engine (i.e. Traction Control)?

This is what I heard from the casa. Just like before, both models have so many identical features. But of course, it remains to be seen....

They finally ndercut their prices. The montero sport pricing was too much. Now they had to reduce it significantly

The Nissan Navara 4x4 VL A/T uses an old engine also ... the Strada GT does have 7 airbags ...

If you're going to use it for hauling (heavy) stuff, I suggest you get the Strada. The rear suspension are still leaf springs.

For light(er) loads, the Navara with its rear coil suspension is ok.

I just don't know if there's a selection between leaf or coil springs in the Navara range of models.

You can order Nissan Navarra with leaf springs ... not sure if it's a special order for company fleet or if you can order individually ...

I also think the Strada doesn't look good. I don't see why I have to get insulted for having that opinion.

The engine block is from the older model, but mostly everything else is new. New turbo, air intake, fuel system and head. Torque spread is much better.

There are also aftermarket medium and heavy duty coil springs for the Navara for people who want to haul heavier stuff.

I also don't like the current Strada's look. Don't know how the Montero's good looks got lost on it.

Fugly indeed. Looks like the Foton pickup with the roundish headlights. If you're after the safety stuff (airbags, traction, esc) better get the 2.2 Wildtrak, just hope it's not a lemon.
