    Doesn't hurt to know...

    Was surfing the net for "Mitsubishi Pajero" because of the Dakar victories. Stumbled upon this... share ko lang. All I can say is the original intent for the name is clean and . Nothing changed, I'm still a Pajero-fan.

    The first concept car was unveiled in 1978 at the Tokyo Motorshow. Mitsubishi chose to call it Pajero because it's the name of a wild cat from the South American highlands, which they think is graceful and beautiful, yet aggressive at the same time. Unfortunately, Pajero has an unpleasant meaning in certain languages and that's why the car is called the Shogun or Montero in some countries

    So that explains the 'cat silhouette' I see on the spare tire cover of Gen I Pajeros.

    Pajero = wanker. Kaya pala 'addictive' ang Pajero. :bwahaha:

    When I was yung I thought the cat-like figure on the logos was of a puma or a panther. And that Pajero must have been a Japanese translation.
