IMHO, the Pajero would still continue since it is still marketable in the other parts of the world (particularly Japan). Although expect a longer shelf life for it.
the montero (pajero/shogun) will only be eliminated in the US, there will be no replacement for the current model which goes away in 2006. the next-gen model which will be sold in other parts of the globe will not be able to meet strict US safety and emission standards, thus no chance of coming stateside.
that's very sad.
Dadami nanaman ang stocks nang Pajero dito sa atin at sa ibang bansa dahil di naman raw pumasa sa US Safety eh dito sa atin di naman US safety tayo so dito nila bebenta yan para maubos na lang nang stocks
ikono consider pa naman namin iyang pajero 04-05 model next year.... gusto ko talaga montero eh..pero pag iaalis na sa market ndi na iyan kukunin namin coz of support...hay nako mitsu!!!
why are americans not buying montero/pajeros?
1.anemic engine--a 3.8L V6 with 215hp...why no V8?
2.small size compared to the expedition, sequoia, armada
3.unrefined handling on-road
4.the mitsubishi name,it's just not catching on this part of the world
ok na lang kung dito na lang nila ibebenta ang pajeros nila, law of supply and demand yan. With more supply than demand, then price is the first casualty. If that happens, anyone interested to buy the new pajero for 1.5M? E kung 1M na lang? Ako ang unang pipila sa linya!!
