I own MS 4x4 GLS 2.5L M/T.

1. Sometimes, when i shift to 1st gear or to 2nd gear, i hear a thud sound, parang i released the clutch prematurely pero i'm not even releasing the clutch even a bit when it happens. May nakaexperience na ba ng ganito?

2. And talaga bang mabigat ang steering ng MS? have my honda civic pero sobrang layo ng steering force nila. Lagi sumasakit mga balikat ko pag gamit ko ang MS...

3. My fuel consumption monitor starts from 40-50L/100km reading first, tapos after ilang minutes pa (15-30mins) bago sha magdisplay ng correct reading (8-10L/100km). normal lang ba ito?

check your tire pressure...baka masyado malambot....
check your power steering fluid, baka wala ng laman...

third, try comparing it to other units of montero sport and see if they have the same feel of the steering....

But if yours has a different feel, you should bring it to the dealership and tell the SA about the problem...

hehehe! ok nga yan! libreng workout hehehe! pero malaking tulong nga kung lalagyan ng steering wheel cover, just get the leather ones. Honestly di naman siya ganun kabigat in my experience, malaki pa rin difference dun sa mga hindi naka-power steering.

Matigas talaga ang steering wheel. Let us not be indenial. Totoo na mabigat po yan. No solutions. Balak ko nga lagyan ng parang sa trailer truck. The one like a knob na parang handle ng shifter na ikakabit. hehehehehe

yung nabili na MS dyan sa MITSU Manila Bay 1 day lang sira n cylinder head kailangan na palitan buong assembly. gustong ko change unit sana pero ayaw ng mga bosing.irerepair lng daw nila imagine in 1 day time repair na agad. wag kau dyan na branch bumili wala sa ayos.

I thought I'm the only one who have noticed about the size of the steering wheel na medyo maliit. But no problem with my wife, so far still enjoying our monty.

BTW, ung silver color ng dashboard down the AC Vent natangal ang kulay because of the car airfreshner na tumulo medyo nagmelt yata ka-asar! meron bang remedyo to repaint ulit ung part ng dashboard? Help! Just got my unit 3days ago.
