the tire pressure monitoring system of the strada is exactly the same as that in the 2002 pajero. i have no clue kung paano kumukuha ng reading ito :D

pajerokid, maybe the sensor is inside the tire valve, i wonder where the sensor gets its power? it even detects sudden rise of tire temperature, fast and slow air leak. galing!:D

Wala bang ABS ang Strada? Most TPMS work by using the wheel sensors of ABS. Ito yung mga sensor na nagdedetect ng speed ng rotation ng gulong and kapag out of sync ito sa ibang tires, the ABS computer will recognize this as a slipping tire and during braking the ABS will work on it.

Kapag mababa ang hangin ng gulong liliit ang diameter ng gulong. Tapos bibilis ang ikot nito to compensate (parang naiba ang gearing niya). Madedetect ng ABS sensor iyon. Tire warning na.

Kaso wala yatang ABS ang Strada. And kahit temperature nababasa niya. hehehe.

otomatic,otep::: ang theory ko jan sa sensor na yan is that its based on magnetic readings. educated guess lang po. Wala kasing abs ang pajero 2002 so malamang di dito based ito. I wish merong owner na mag-clarify :D



BTW, pareho itsura ng TPMS ng Paj at Strada kaya ko nasabing pareho sila. :wink:
