strada...pwede ba palitan ng air filter?

pwede ba lagyan ng cone type na air filter ang current strada 4x4?

will there be any increase in hp and acceleration? how is the noise level ng filter? same as cars din ba?

it can be done, gawa ko sa pajero ko. may slight increase. u can either put in a simota or k n n.

I'd recommend a drop in filter instead. My simota got sucked by my turbo.

pwede. my K&N has been around for more than two years already. medyo may noise lang (a swishing sound when you rev).

yes, there is a noticeable power increase especially if you also increase your piping diameter and increase turbo boost to at least 0.8bar to 1.0 bar.

what tube did you use? for what car?

dba wala naman simota tube for the pajero o strada(they have the same engine db?)?

kasi meron akong nakikita... pag yung car walang simota intake tube... kumukuha sila from other cars then they modify it... meron ba fit for the strada with alittle mods?

how do you increase boost and what piping should be modified?exhaust? inatke?

Drop-in....the same type (porma) ito ng OEM filter mo na "drop-in" sa loob ng airfilter chamber.

The pipes are usually "hand-made" if no after market is available. Si Autoexer kayang kaya ito (I think).

1) piping - checkout the thread here at the forum about FusionR hehehe

2) boost - tinanggal ko na yung mga washers and I installed a relatively cheap manual turbo boost controller.

3) when I installed a boost guage like the one in this picture, halos walang boost effect ang washers kaya naglagay na lang ako ng boost controller. ngayon, mga 1 bar (est. 11 psi) ko na-set ang boost. very significant ang effect in terms of power.

kelangan mo ibalik yung stock air box mo pag gusto mo ng drop-in filter. nagpalit rin ako dati to finer filter. ok rin yun. yun nga lang, nasira ng mekaniko. bad trip!

yung simota ko, suksok mo na agad. wala ng tubing. ok nga. wala ng modification.

Kc, sorry for the delayed reply.

Yung drop-in filter, like what tebs said, uses the stock airbox of the pajero. Para ka lang nagpalit ng stock air filter. but of course, the drop in filter is a high performance one either K&N or Finer Filter (or any other brand for that matter).

Gamit ko ngayon FinerFilter. Same performance as simota, safe pa kasi kahit basa mo engine room hindi mababasa ang filter. Hindi rin siya directly affected ng dust since medyo enclosed siya.

Mura lang... nasa P2500 ata kuha ko... washable din.

any pics? nung tinignan ko kasi... puro rubber tube yung mga ginamit sa stock airbox tube. pano mo iclamp yung filter?

also which part mo tinggal? pareho lang ba orientation airbox, and tubing ng strada and pajero?

also ano ang finer filter? and also san makakabili and how much?

Yung kay KCboy from what I remember gamit niya yung stock rubber hoses. Tapos naka-hose clamp yung simota siya dun.

Finer Filter ay brand ng air filter galing Australia. It looks just like your standard air filter pero reusable siya. :D

Pareho lang ang orientation ng airbox ng Strada at Pajero. Ewan ko lang yung filter itself kung pareho.

bought a new simota air filter, 600 lang, palitan ko yun akin pag oil change na ako, i suggest u go with pk suggestion, me kc i took out the stock air filter box na so it; be a gassle ibalik, but kung tanggal mo na, easy lang ikabit yung filter.

how much did the manual boost controller and boost gauge cost you all in all? Did you install it on your own or did you have it installed? wouldn't a larger diameter piping mean more smoke?

Yung stock air filter ang hindi reusable. You have to throw it away and get a new one.

Finer filter and K&N are washable and have specifically designed cleaning kits for doing so.

Yung Turbo XS manual boost controller ni woodfire ay galing sa Fusion R din. 8K+ if I'm not mistaken.
