    sa mga adventure owners po... have you experience na may tagas yung drain plug sa radiator..
    my ride is 2012 Advie GLX... napansin ko nababawasan yung coolant. Nung nag inspect ako I notice na may tagas yungdrain plug ng radiator.. sabi sa shell teflon lang daw nilalagay nila dun..

    anu po sa tingin nyo..

    Nagkaproblem na din ako ng ganito dati sa 2003 Advie SS namin. Teflon tape did stopped the leak. But make sure hindi loose thread yung drain plug. Otherwise, replace it. :-)

    Nagkaproblem na din ako ng ganito dati sa 2003 Advie SS namin. Teflon tape did stopped the leak. But make sure hindi loose thread yung drain plug. Otherwise, replace it. :-)

    i check mo na lang din yan every now and then...... pero mura lang naman magpalit ng drain plug eh....

    teflon lang yan ganyan din sa hilander ko nun hindi naman nagkaproblema hanggang naibenta ko

    may O-ring ba yun drain plug? palitan mo na din kung meron, baka matigas na.

    di advisable na gamitin ang teflon sa drain plug. may possibly na malusaw ito sa sobrang init ng makina kaya may possibly din magka leak oil. ang mura lang naman ng OHR O-ring so hwag na sanang makipagsapalaran.

    What the doc was implying was copper or aluminum gasket similar to those used in Beater Double U and Mercedes beans

    Thanks sa mga reply sir... Actually simula pa nun bago pa to napapasin ko na nagbabawas ung coolant recently ko lang napansin talaga na sa drain plug galing..

    I'll replace the drain plug and look look for thicker o-ring..

    Takot din ako sa teflon kse di ba sa gripo minsan nagkakalagas lagas ung teflon pag ikot sa thread baka bumara sa radiator

    may oring yan.pero kung ako sayo bili kana lang ng bago saka mo ilagay.nasa 200 yata yan,pero bago mo ilagay lagyan mo din ng teplon para sigurado.or baka naman kulang lang sa teplon ung drain plug mo..

    yun sa pajero ni utol pinalitan ko lang ng rubber O-ring ok na. dalhin mo na lang yun drain plug pagbili mo, +-10petot lang yan (US made) sa suking auto supply.
