August 24th, 2004 11:23 PM #6batman begins is the story of how bruce wayne became batman, where and how he trainned, where he got the idea of the bat. it's batman year one to comic fans.
hope they keep the theme of batman begins true to the original batman theme, dark and serious not what like the last two batman movies which Joel Schumacher directed. too colorful and too many side comic antics

his opponent in the movie is SCARECROW.
the theme is again on the serious and dark side but with gothic and oriental elements thrown in.
It shows June 15 but will be shown 2 days earlier in RP, since new movies open on wed while in US, its Friday.
They will also launch the new animated BATMAN series called THE BATMAN and not just BATMAN
its anime btw. Cool.
it will go head on with episode 3 of star wars and fantastic four of Marvel Comics when it opens all in summer next year. exciting.
