    Was looking for some article about the incident but only this one came up sa Net.

    Saw this last saturday sa NewsFlash sa ABS-CBN. Napapikit ako nung bumagsak na yung bata from the 50-foot tower...

    what could have happened to the shooter? was he arrested and charged? assuming he committed the crime with lots of witnesses and with his own admission?

    na bata. binaril ang bata, meron pang sakit na epilepsy. dapat
    bitay si francisco gerona dito ; murder without a cause.
    sana inakyat na lang ung bata at binaba. wala ba naman utak
    ung bumaril na yon, kahit ba naman inakyat nung bata ung tower,
    walanaman ginagawang masama ung bata kundi lang delikado sya
    sa taas baka mahulog. dapat sana inakyat na lang at pinababa.
    condolences na lang dun sa family ng bata. may he rest in peace.

    he shot the kid nung lasing siya. now na sober siya...bitay na yan.

    di na naawa. he should be shot sa tiyan para maghirap siya.

    Yes he was arrested. He's gonna be charged with murder. Obviously lasing yung shooter pinagmamalaki pa yung ginawa niya.

    wala palang halaga sa kanya ang buhay ng tao. government official pa naman siya.

    i think to be fair, the justice system should also tell him na wala ring halaga ang buhay niya - and that he should lose it also.

    according to the news, it wasn't the first time that the kid climbed the said electric tower. during the first instance - rescue workers took hours before they could rescue the kid.

    it seemed that this is already a regular occurence there.

    so the big question is... where are the kid's parents?

    condolences sa pamilya ng bata...

    matapang ang batang ito at nakakaakyat sa 50-foot tower at 5 times na niyang ginawa. nakakalula iyon at equivalent almost sa height ng isang 5-storey building. tapos me sakit pang epilepsy.

    nainggit siguro itong si gerona at mas sikat yung bata sa kanya...

    sana ang sentensiya sa kanya ay maiba naman...ang bagay sa kanya ay paakyatin sa tower at patatalunin maraming beses...until dead...mahirap kasi mamatay ang masamang damo eh.

    bkit hndi nakulong yng bumaril? narinig ko pa nga na ini-interview pa nga sya sa MUP.. hndi nman sya authorized bumaril.. at bkt may baril sya kung kagawad sya? t*&%^%^%!

    whenever Patrick took his medication for epilepsy, he became hyperactive and this led him to do extraordinary acts like climbing atop the Napocor Transmission Tower in Barangay Gaya Gaya in San Jose, Del Monte, Bulacan.
    totoo kaya to? baka naman na-high yung bata.. kawawa naman.
    hay.. hopefully the killer will get what he deserves.

    If it were a monkey, they would probably have let him alone.

    As with most local officials, i think this councilor would be able to get off scott free once the media and in turn the public loses interest.

    Ano naman ang pakialam ni Councilor kung umakyat yung bata dun? Mawawalan ba ng kuryente sa bahay niya?

    Buti kung sa kanya yung tower na yun. Pero kahit na, hindi pa din tamang pumatay.
