Maybe its just my imagination, but in the many years that
I've been driving I've come to notice this phenomenon:

I seem to get more "respect" on the road when I'm driving
a white car than a dark-color car. Example: when I approach
an intersection, mas pinagbibigyan ako and hinihintay akong
makadaan before most cars pass. Also, napansin ko na hindi
ako madalas singitan when I'm in a white vehicle. When I drive
a dark-color car, mas madalas ako makaranas nang gulang
    at pambabastos sa daan.

BTW, I drive a white Adventure and a blue-gray Lancer.
Maybe its the size since the Adventure is a van-type
    vehicle?

Would appreciate a logical explanation from anyone who
may have experienced the same thing.

Nagkataon lang na mas mababait yung nakakasalubong mo every time na yung white car mo ang dala mo.

It is very possible that a car's color can psychologically affect other motorists.

Back in 1992-93, a group in Letran de Manila conducted a study on this in relation to vehicle accidents in Metro Manila. Part of the study revealed that the most accident prone car color was Red.

It coincided with Toyota's customer survey regarding their then famous 16valve Corolla that figured in most accidents than any other variant. What was the majority car color? You guessed it.

Ironically, back then, if you wanted to have a red corolla, you had to pay an extra 20k on top of the SRP.

    Seeing red when you drive?

if you are using your peripheral vision while driving, you can clearly notice white vehicles compared to dark colored cars. Somehow this makes the car more visible and less accident prone specially during nights.

kung sa bagay may impact nga based on your experience. color could deceive.
may point din yung laki ng car. sindakan sa laki kung baga.

pag dala ko AUV namin, pinagbibigyan ako ng mga makukulit na tricycle drivers, pero pag sedan sisingitan pa ako. fools!
